After a student graduates High school, what’s next for them? Whether students continue their education or enter the workforce, we believe that Young Adults need a place to stay connected, serve the church, and most importantly continue to grow in their faith. Young Adults matter and youth groups are not the end of the road.
We are blessed to have Malachi Dean as our District Young Adult director, whose focus is on connecting local students, as well as Chris Bean, who is a denominational leader for the Church of the Nazarene in Young Adult ministry, to help students find their place. Both are passionate about accomplishing this mission.
SWO NYI offers different opportunities for people aged 18-30 (ish), whether they travel to Atlanta for the Passion conference, or attend various events, there is something for everyone. If you have a student who is aged 18-30, or you are a Young adult looking to find a small group from around the district to connect with, let us know! We would love to get to know you and help you or your student find a place.
Each year, college-aged students from around the SWO District descend upon Atlanta, GA with tens of thousands of other Young Adults from around the USA, Canada, and the world to attend the Passion Conference, hosted by Passion City Church. They have the opportunity to worship together and reconnect with each other while learning from amazing speakers.
Attending the Passion Conference is a great way for Young Adults to refocus their relationship with Jesus for the new year.
If you would like to find out more information or are interested in attending in 2025, please contact Malachi Dean.
